Induction - Day 1
Today was day 1 of Induction...Although I had joined almost 2 months back, but the formal induction started today, as most of the people(and also rest of the people) were joining today. So 2 months down the line, I am formally 'Induced' into the company...As they say, 'Better Late than Never'.
One of the highs of the program was the Bristlecone T Shirt that was given to all of us.. :-) After all, jo bhi milta hai le lo...!! :-D
Another great part was the food at Residence...It was simply awesome.. :-) Chicken, Mutton, Ice cream, Gulab Jamun - it was all yummy... Kash office meh bhi same food milta..!! But alas, har sapna saach nahi hota hai..!! :-(
There is a another secret reason why I loved this Induction Program...Simply because it was held at Powai, just 10 mins from my home...For the 1st time since joining I had to travel so less to reach my workplace...Else everyday I travel for more than 50 KMs (to and fro combined!!)
Now for the more serious things related to the Induction program...In all 29 B School Grads have joined Bristlecone this year...!! There are people from IIMK, IIML, MDI, SP Jain, NITIE, JBIMS, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkie, IIT Kgp, Welingkar, Somaiya, Sadhna Centre of Learning...I think I got it all right..!! Might just have made 1-2 mistakes...Then I should get the benefit of doubt, as it is difficult to remember everything on Day 1... After all what are the other days for.. :-)
We had presentations from various people in the Senior Management...Company Mission, Vision, Growth Areas - all were shared...And how can Day 1 of Induction be complete without small games and ice breaker sessions...So, in all, a nice day..!!
